Jaws Unleashed takes place 30 years after the events of the first film. The days of the malcontent shark have all but been forgotten, and Amity Island has returned to its days as a thriving township. But when a major corporation comes to town to do something entirely corporate and anonymously evil, the local marine population is disturbed, and along comes yet another gigantic shark (or is it the same one, 30 years later to lay waste to the populace and wreak havoc on the island. The setup for the shark-biting action is flimsy at best; but then again, this isnt really a game youd ever play for its story, and the developers had to find some way to tie the Jaws license into this whole thing.

great irony is that the only company making American Civil War tactical naval games is Russian. Totem Games’ first effort was the under-rated Ironclads. That turn-based game focused on littoral actions and was marred only by the inability of ships to exchange fire simultaneously. Ironclads High Seas moves the action a few miles from shore and uses a real-time system. Naval buffs may object that the ironclads weren’t ocean-going. The rebuttals are that some of those vessels could handle blue water and the actions are simply blockade engagements out of sight of land but not in mid-ocean.

In The Rockin Dead, the player takes on the role of Alyssa, member of the pretty to look at but unsuccessful metal band "Deadly Lullabyes". Following an anonymous invitation to a concert, they have an accident on the bumpy terrain just before they reach their destination. When Alyssa comes round, all the equipment of the band is missing – as well as the rest of the band. The following events span a spaced adventure in utter "B Movie" style: Rocking skeletons, wobbly Elvises and numerous undead put Alyssa through various challenges. An extremely bizarre setting which somehow reminds Alyssa of one of her songs.
