#9: Keith Emerson Band Feat. Mark Bonilla Live In Moscow (2011)
Keith Emerson Band Feat. Mark Bonilla – Live In Moscow (2011)
Release: September, 2011 | 15 tracks | 01:48:41| MP3 320kbps 44,1khz Stereo | 253 MB
Genre: Rock , Crossover Progressive| Studio: VARESE FONTANA
This is a fantastic live performance of the Keith Emerson Band. Im really glad I picked it up. Emerson can still play, though not quite has amazingly fast as he did in his heyday. Amazon has the CD running time of 70 minutes, but the DVD is actually much longer. Nearly 2 hours. Emerson can still play and really seemed to be enjoying himself, interacting with the audiance. Marc Bonillas guitar work adds to the ELP classics, giving those selection a slightly different vibe. Many of the ELP songs have been extended. Lucky Man runs more than 10 minutes, while Tarkus clocks in at a lenghty 36 minutes. Tarkus, as an example, has several places in the middle that are different and yet intriguing, including a nice drum solo. More improvisational playing. Emersons newer and less well known pieces typically run 1-2 minutes long

Review by Amy E. Weirauch ~amazon.com
What a joy it is to watch Peter Cincotti and his band on this great DVD "Live in New York"! Peter breathes new life into the songs from both his debut album as well as his most recent release, "On The Moon" which is included with the DVD. You can hear the Ray Charles influence on "The Girl I Knew". So much so that I was certain it was one of "The Genius"s songs! What a pleasant surprise to learn that the song was written by Peter himself! The performances are nothing short of excellent. I guarantee, "A Night in Tunisia" will leave you speechless! In this world of lip sync and lackluster deliveries of songs, Peter Cincotti is like a fine glass of Cabernet after far too many years of grape juice. And like Caberbet, he will contiue to grow better with time.

In this series of lessons we will go through the process of using MARI to create textures for high resolution creatures. #17: The Police - Certifiable Live In Buenos Aires (2008) FLAC
EAC rip | 2CD | FLAC - Log - Cue | Full Artwork | Release: 2008 | 859 MB
Genre: Rock, Pop, New Wave | Label: Polydor, A&M Records, CherryTree
After a 23-year absence, The Police return in (almost) all of their former glory. One of the best things about this live album is the extended jams, solos, and re-arrangements that breath fresh air into the old songs ("Wrapped Around Your Finger", "Driven To Tears", "King Of Pain", and the "VIMH/WTWIRDYMTBOWSA" medley simply destroy the old album cuts), which of course still sound fresh even today. Stings bass work is stronger than ever and pushed up in the mix. Stewart Copeland is still a drumming prodigy and the star of the show, playing tastefully and unloading the heavy artillery when needed. Andy Summers fiery playing belies his 64 years of age, tossing off solos left and right along with his trademark chorus/effect-laden chordal patterns. The band truly sounds amazing, hands-down. Despite a few stumbles ("Dont Stand So Close To Me" is a bit too pedestrian, "Truth Hits Everybody" is about half-speed, and Sting cant quite hit those notes like he used to) the band is tighter and better than ever before, and like Sting said, they were really good to begin with. Simply put, there arent any bands like this around anymore and thats a shame.
