The Yardbirds Live at the BBC (Warner Archives 2-46694, 1997) compiles 26 recordings made for broadcast from eight different sessions between 1965 and 1968. All the songs feature either Jeff Beck (1965–66) or Jimmy Page (1967–68) on guitar. Eric Clapton left the group shortly before the first recording session represented on this CD.

Golden Earring is one of the best known rockbands of the Netherlands and has been active for over 40 years. They are the worlds longest surviving rock band, having been formed a year before The Rolling Stones . In 1961 George Kooymans,(age 13) and his neighbour Rinus Gerritsen formed the Tornados in Den Haag. Accompanied by Freddy van Hilst (drums) and Hans van Herwerden(guitar) they mainly played The Shadows covers.

"This is the third installment of Golden Earrings "Naked" series of acoustic concerts. It is also the most "electric", with Rinus Gerritsen stepping away from the acoustic or stand-up bass and playing keyboards on a few songs. This is quite a career retrospective, with older songs ("Ive Just Lost Somebody", "Holy Holy Life") as well as more recent, and a little bit of everything in between. The songs from Millbrook USA are better here than they are on the studio recording. Barry and George are in great form and the band is tight. The more intimate confines of the Panama Club really brought out the best in the band that evening. I highly recommend the DVD version of this concert as well, which includes all of the songs here plus the extra track "Save Your Skin". The sound and camera work are excellent. This really is a 5-star effort from the band...if you are a fan of Golden Earrings acoustic work, dont miss this one!"
