Still grieving the death of nine year old Alice their only child at the jaws of a crazed dog, vet Patrick and pharmacist Louise relocate to the remote town of Wake Wood where they learn of a pagan ritual that will allow them three more days with Alice. The couple find the idea disturbing and exciting in equal measure, but once they agree terms with Arthur, the villages leader, a far bigger question looms what will they do when its time for Alice to go back?

The manufacturing of wood veneers takes great skill as well as experience. Similarly, the creation of textures out of such veneers takes a lot of knowhow and is a very time and resources consuming task. The use of our innovative scanning process made it possible to digitize large veneered panels in high resolution while avoiding the problem of surface reflection. The thus obtained 4GB of raw data per wood species were then processed into high-quality textures using our tried and tested map creation techniques. This new texture collection has been produced to the same high standards as the first two parts and concludes our very successful wood veneer series.

This is a tutorial set covering modeling and texturing of a pirate ship. We start with creating a project and setting up image planes before we start modeling. In this project well use mainly NURBS based geometry to model masts, ladders, wood panels, stairs, sails and railings which are then converted to polygons in the end to create additional detail in the model.

This collection contains a cross-section of wood species from North, Middle and South America and thus provides a broad spectrum of different styles, ranging from the mundane to the exotic.
